Step 10: To enhance the clarity and volume level of the microphone, click the small icon

below the Mic Volume control bar to bring up the Advanced setting window

Step 11: Select an input device from the dropdown menu in the Record section

Figure E-17). The audio input device selected here will be set as the default

audio input device of the system.

Mic in at front panel (Pink): audio input through the front panel microphone.

Realtek HDA Primary input: audio input through the handset.
